Moving Day

I finally have the Jetstar at home in my garage.
Here are some pics.. (keep in mind the car has been sitting covered outside for the last 5 years and may appear dirty) I am going to be washing it tomorrow and get more pics.

After popping the top we backed it in to air up the rear tires

Here is the interior

Thanks.. 0r thanks to the previous owner (Standing in the first pic with a rag on his shoulder)
It is basically show ready.. (as long as I don't show off the engine (very dirty))

I do have the missing letters from the hood / trunk for it as well.

Now just to find a mirror for the Passenger side.

That is one fine looking car, especially sitting covered outside for 5 years. Congratulations.

Beautiful car. The '65 88s have such a unique and classic look to them.

You better watch out looks like your son is ready to take it for a spin. I'm glad to see young people taking interest in cars. Raise him wright raise him to be a car guy. Nice car best of luck.

Well done!! That's a car almost all of us would love to have. How does it drive? I'm sure you'll have a winter project cleaning up the engine bay so you can pop the hood at next years show n shines.

it isn't too bad for a 44 year old car. it does have power steering and brakes. I want to put new springs and shocks on the rear and I would love to upgrade to disks up front.. but all in due time.

Sure is in beautiful shape!

Mine has 56,000 miles. I bought it from the original owner.

My odometer shows 38K Give or take.. I know the Speedometer cable is not working. it is on my list of things to fix once I do actually buy it.. (my purchase of it got delayed by a year.. as I lost my job when I got my taxes back and had to live on my taxes.) mine was initially blue.. and now I see a car that color I am thinking I may go back to that color.
