My wife wanted a manual trans in her new DD. I spent over 6 months looking for one for her. It also had to have a sunroof and couldn't be white and affordable. It was a quest. Several that didn't meet expectations. Thought I found a Hyundai Veloster Turbo but after a long test drive there was a chatter in the engine, pulled dipstick and found gas in the oil. No sale. Finally found a red 16 Mazda 3 sedan with a 6 speed. Seems to be a good car so far.

Never had an automatic until an 88 custom cruiser. Growing up the work trucks had column shifters or the GMC ton and half had throws that smashed my knuckles into the dash then the seat back. Great fun

we had a mazda 3 GT in the past it was nice...the wife didnt like it, my only gripe was the blose stereo was horrible in any mode except off. More than once i would hit the tuner seek button and it would merrily continue around the dial and never stop, we are generally in an area that gets excellent reception.
