I looked up the listing for my Olds to buy wiper blades. The listing showed two lengths for front and one for rear.

I have only one length front and have no rear wiper. Apparently the listings for our old cars are a little flaky.

Check your originals before ordering and don't rely only on listings.

Hi Rock!

I looked up listing for 1970 Vista Cruiser. Even if the list incorrectly included all years of Oldsmobiles with the name Vista Cruiser, none of those cars has a rear wiper.

In November I tried to buy a rear blade for a 2008 Saturn Astra. All listings showed blades that only fit 4-door cars. The blade for the 2-door car is 2" shorter. Wiper OEM is Bosch and even their catalog did not show a 2-door selection.

Perhaps these instances signify some problem with wiper manufacturer listings.

No, there was not. I realize there are hundreds of thousands of possible parts applications to track, but the RockAuto online catalog seems to be full of errors for Oldsmobile parts. Motor mounts are my favorite example of this, but there are many, many others. For example, look up a motor mount for a 1968 442. Your website shows 2328 mounts. This is not correct - they should be 2261s for that year. Your listings for a 1985 Delta 88 with 307 motor show a knock sensor, but there was never one on the car. Listings for that car also show a fuel injection pump relay and fuel pump cutoff switch, but the car came with a carb and mechanical pump. And why, when I go to select my year and model, why is the 350 engine even shown as an option on a 1970 442? The 455 was the only engine ever installed in them from the factory.

Well, the Rallye 350 was a Cutlass or F85 by the VIN, and your catalog has similar errors in every other year of the 442. Look at 1969, for example, There was no 350 engine option in the 442 that year either, nor 68, nor 71.

Its all about inclusivity, Maybe the small block identifies as a bigblock in those years ?
