more about head

Well guy's I have a question about heads again. I've been reading about the casting numbers where they fall in. So my question is which is the best bbo head and the sbo head. Just wondering, going to keep my eye's open for these old motor's and heads

The general thought is the best "common" big block is the C casting and the best small block is the #5 casting. If you do some flow work you can pretty much make any of the castings flow well, at least the castings from the 1960's into early 70's. John
