A good question!
I was riding the bus for an Oldsmobile-related reason. I had my '67 Delta at the transmission shop for service, and they were finished with it. I need to get to the shop so I could drive the car home. I can almost, but not quite, fit the Toro in the Delta's trunk (or the other way around).
By the way, if anyone needs transmission work and are within a million miles of Las Cruces, I highly recommend the local AAMCO shop. They have worked on both of my cars, and they've done fine work. With the dry climate here, there are more older cars on the road and thus more that need service. Even the younger guys at this shop have worked on older cars, and decades-old transmissions are old hat for them. On top of that, the owner just until recently owned a '70 Toro, and she (yes, she) won't let any Oldsmobile out of the shop until the transmission works like new.

I had my 83 Ninety Eight's 200 4R rebuilt by AAMCO. It cost a bit more than I was expecting but they also said that it would have lifetime warranty if I brought it by every year for a free service. That included inspection, replacing the fluid and pan gasket plus a test drive to ensure shift points were correct. I held them to that for 18 years till they closed down here. I still remember the owner - Gary Penner. I'd call and book an appointment. He made sure I didn't wait any longer than an hour while the work was being done. I miss that shop
