mirrors
Hi guys, I purchased my 67olds cutlass supreme 330 in Texas and shipped it back to New Zealand, I now live in Perth Australia ,we took the cutlass for a registration and although we drive on the lefthand side of the road and it is a lefthand drive they still require me to have a mirror on the rightside door.Any idea which mirrors I could use or where I can order it from and also I have 20inch wheels on the car and it rubs on the inner guard on full lock does anyone know what I can use or install to restrict the full lock.
I would put the correct size wheels and tires on it. You don't want to try and restrict the turning radius of the car.
As far as the mirror goes, I don't know of any that would match the factory mirror on the left side of the car.

The WHEEL diameter isn't the problem. It's the TIRE diameter, TIRE width, and WHEEL offset that will affect the clearance. Restricting the turning radius is not a great idea, which is why there is no easy way to do it.
I know that Joe, but with a 20" wheel he's looking at something with a sidewall of less than 2" to make it even close to factory diameter and who even knows what the width and offset is. A tire like that won't last long in day to day driving especially if the roads are suspect.
I was unaware about the mirror.

The contour of the bases are mirror image from LH to RH to match the top of the door. The LH mirror does not sit properly on the RH door. Call Fusick and ask if they have any of the passenger side 67 mirror repros still available.
Thanks for catching that, Joe. Fusick's photo made it look like it might interchange as some Olds mirrors did, but apparently not in this case. I suppose that's why it says "left only". A really long distance call (or e-mail?) will be in order.
None of the factory manuals I have show a factory right mirror for a 67. If you use a factory left mirror on the right it does not give you a good view as Joe said it is set up for the left. If there is a different mirror like Fusick used to sell I would love to get a few for the 67's we have.

I reckon if you really had to, one could re-shape the base curvature to suit your application. It might not be super pretty underside when done, depending on your skill set, but it would work. Unless the angle is extremely far off, like 70-72 chrome mirrors.
There is always the generic JC Whitney one-fits-all type. Won't match but will satisfy the inspectigator.
