Hi on my drivers side mirror on the ball the mirror is lose does any one no how to tighten it or does it need to be replaced ?

 

If it is the same as a 68's there is no way to tighten it. They are reproduced for $50

I have seen others have someone hold it in a perfect position and then you drip crazy glue or lock-tite into the ball/socket. Hold it for s few minutes and it will hold for a while.
