I removed the metal tag on my 1970 442 radiator before it was repaired and didn't make a note of its location. I know it goes on the passenger side, I just don't know how far down from the top it goes or if it matters. Does anyone know?

I don't know if it matters, but I've got one on a 1971 Cutlass Wagon that I believe is original. It's a little over 10 inches from the top. Here's a couple pictures of how I measured it. John

I agree I don't think it was exact. Mine was reinstalled on my re-cored radiator in the same location as original which was on the passenger side about 1/3 way down from the top.
