MCACN 2022 X-Code Xtravaganza

Happy New Year from the MCACN show team. www.mcacn.com

MCACN X-Code Xtravaganza Class of 1972 Oldsmobile W-30 display. This will be the 50th anniversary of the X-Code W-30.

For 2022 we will be showcasing the 'Class of 1972' and the 'Class of 1967'. One special display will be based on the Oldsmobile 1972 W-30. Space will be limited so don't wait!
X-Code Xtravaganza @ MCACN 2022 If you have a special 1972 W-30 which you would like to share and display at the MCACN 2022 show, please contact Ed Vandril @ sd455sbcglobal.net or Al Sutton. They will be cooridinating this display and extending invitations.

Would sure be great if my old car would surface for this show! All I know is that it is located in Texas someplace. Not sure if Mike Fusick would still know where it is at or not.

Hey guys anyone who was planning to or wanting to bring a car for the X-Code Extravaganza needs to fill out the application form and send it ASAP.

NOTE TO NON JUDGED ENTRY PARTICIPANTS: We assign Judges specifically by car make and model (and need hire the appropriate number of judges and to purchase the appropriate number of awards and certificates). It is very important that we have enough marque specific Judges on our team for all judged cars and awards and certificates.

Orders for judging must be placed by Oct 1, 2022.

Non Judged cars are already eligible to win a Pick Award.

Judging is not required to participate in Special Displays.



Please note; it is not possible to add on

judging at the show. NO EXCEPTIONS.





If you are not sure what type of entry you should choose read the descriptions below.







When you apply, you will choose between the following SIX types of entries...





Concours Stock Judged Vehicles: Concours Factory Stock *: Vehicles are judged on a 1,000 point scale with deductions taken for any deviations from how the vehicle left the assembly line. Cars with Replacement and questionable VINS will not be judged. Not for clones or tributes. Cars that are suspected to be non-authentic by our judging team will not be judged. A copy of your title may be required to complete your registration. Car and all parts must match VIN. Unrestored Original Cars should consider Vintage Certification . Due to specialized nature of judging and specialized knowledge of judges- Concours Classes will be limited in qty per class in 2022.

Graduated Pricing Applies:

$450 until August 31, 2022.

$500 between September 1- Oct 1, 2022.

CONCOURS JUDGING CLOSED On Oct 1, 2022 or earlier if judging spots sell out earlier





Concours Day 2 Judged Vehicles: Concours Day 2* AKA Period Correct: Vehicles are judged on a 1,000 point scale with no deductions taken for period correct accessories and modifications, including era correct drive-train and wheel and/or tire swaps. Note; deviations from stock must be deemed "period correct." VIN MUST MATCH VEHICLE. Cars with replacement VINs will not be judged.. Not for Clones or Tributes. Cars that are suspected of being non-authentic by our judging team will not be judged.A copy of your title may be required to complete registration.

Graduated Pricing Applies:

$300 until August 31, 2022

$350 September 1- Oct 1, 2022.

DAY 2 JUDGING CLOSED Oct 1, 2022 or earlier if judging spots sell out earlier.



Super Street: Modified/Custom/Fit & Finish Judged Vehicles: Vehicles are judged on a 1,000 point scale with no deductions for deviations from stock. Overall attention to cleanliness and detail inside and outside along with panel fit and finish is considered. This category may also be suitable for driven factory stock cars that are not freshly restored or matching numbers.

Graduated Pricing Applies:
$200 until August 31, 2022
$250 September 1, 2022- Oct 1, 2022.
SUPER STREET JUDGIN CLOSED Oct 1, 2022





Non Judged/Pick Award Eligible Vehicles: Vehicles are not judged on a point system, but will be considered for a variety of “Pick” Awards, including Celebrity, Sponsor, and Club Choice Awards.





Triple Diamond Judging: Triple Diamond judging is for the country’s finest restored and original Corvettes only. Applicants must first provide proof of achieving Bloomington Gold or Bloomington Survivor and NCRS Top Flight or NCRS 4 or 5 Star Bowtie status within the past five years. (Certs for Candidates must be received by MCACN no later than Oct 28 for applicants seeking to earn all three certs in one calendar year) Full vehicle identification number must also be provided with registration along with certificates. Non OEM Engines take a minimum 20 point deduction out of the gate, discuss Certification with Bill Braun if you have a Non OEM Engine. For More Information: billszo6@yahoo.com. TRIPLE DIAMOND JUDGING CLOSED OCT 1, 2022 You can order Triple Diamond Judging BEFORE your earn the certificates, if you will get the certificates before Oct 28 (Certs must be submitted by Oct 28 for eligibility)





Vintage Certification: Vintage Certification focuses on the unrestored vehicle, and includes American brands. This program provides status, recognition, provenance and appreciation to unrestored vehicles. The certification team provides each owner with a detailed listing of our findings in a comprehensive report. Our goal is to uncover new information, share it with you and act as a repository for factory standards and processes.

Pinnacle Certification: Reserved for the absolute best of the best in the Shelby and Ford Mustang world. All applicants must first earn MCA (Mustang Club of America) Gold status and SAAC (Shelby American Automobile Club) gold status. This intense judging process is done by certified Shelby and Mustang authorities, led by Bob Perkins and Rick Campbell. Cars will be inspected inside, outside and underneath on a lift with all numbers and date codes inspected and verified. Lifts are provided by MCACN Official Lift Company Titan Lifts. Certifications may be awarded in several levels.



Milestone Certification: For the absolute "Best of the Best" restored to original OEM Stock, 60's and 70's Muscle Cars. Requires Pre-Approva of Bob Ashton

Due to overwhelming demand for judging, prices will increase incrementally as we get closer to the show and Quantity Limits will be applied to classes.
