Hey all, I had the pleasure of volunteering at the Muscle Car And Corvette Nationals in Chicago last week. What a great show if you ever get to go you will see some of the best cars in the country there. I've heard it called the Pebble Beach of the Muscle car world. What made it really nice was that there were a lot of Oldsmobiles and all were second to none. there were six 69 H/Os at the show. The vintage Certification area had cars that you would not believe were unrestored, Fred M. had his 1970 W-30 that was spectacular, another gentlemen had his 69 H/O that has less than 15,000 miles on it (I wonder if he would lend me some parts) It looked like it just came off the Show room floor. In the winged warriors there was a superbird that has 680 original miles. I could go on and on about the show but at my age I might not live long enough to cover everything ( heck I don't even buy green bananas any more ) so if you ever thought of going go you will not be disappointed. And what made it even better seeing Friends that you have not seen in a while. Guy

Thanks Matt. I was too busy consoling participants who wished their cars were Oldsmobiles to take pictures. How did you like the Dodge made up to look like a H/O. I call that a classic case of ***** envy in my book. Another spectacular car is the 69 H/O that was restored by Miller Car Care that had to be a thousand point car. Thorten has nothing on them. Again thanks for the Pics.

Whoops!!! How did that big block Chevy get in there!!!
Guy no did not notice that Dodge. This was my first year and holy crap was I SUPER over loaded on the awesomeness of all the cars. I spent a lot of time in the barn find area trying to see if my car would fit in next year and then blew all my money at the In-line booth buying olds parts and the guy around that corner buying tons of 68 car ads and paper work.

Ah yah I remember that car now. I scanned it for a few seconds and thought what the hell but then I thought well I heard a model of olds was coming back and thought maybe a prototype but truthfully with all the old cars I pay little attention to the newbies.🤨😁

I thought it was black but if green there were two according to my paint chip. A B code twighlight teal irid. but that’s listed only as a Toronado
color and S code jade gold irid. which is what my car is and the ram rod looks way darker than mine. Just my thoughts.

CHRIS, Boy its good hearing from you. Yeah I'm just about back to normal ( what ever that is ) I hope you got back home safe with no incidents with your car. I'm having some fun with this post at the the expense of all non Oldsmobile Owners, hope they got a sense of humor. Your car was a great contribution to the show. Thanks for your concern. Guy
