I am trying to install a new manual antenna on my 1963 oldsmobile dynamic 88. It is located front passengers side. I traced where the antenna lead goes into the body but I can't access the antenna. Any ideas on how to get to it???

 

I'm assuming this is a non A/C car ?
You'll have to remove the right kick panel and the ventilator assembly behind it.
You reach up through the hole where the ventilator was to access the base of the antenna.

A/C cars had the antenna mounted on the rear quarter and are accessed from inside the trunk.

 

Thanks for the feedback. I did take the kick panel off but stopped there. I'll give it another go. Thanks for the info.
