M/T Valve Covers

Hi can anyone help me out with the right grommets sizes for these type of covers, I wanna run a proper pvc and breather on the other side, I'm gonna have to fab some sort of baffles up by the looks of it. some links to places to buy would really help, these are the ones I'm gonna buy tomorrow.

Those are made to work with original/factory rubber grommets. For example, that's a factory style rubber PCV grommet in your pic.

You can get the grommets from the typical Olds repro parts vendors.

Just be super careful when cutting away the "uncut" cover for the breather grommet. I've seen a lot of these M/T covers where someone hogged out the hole way too large and didn't leave enough of a lip to hold the grommet in place. The breather grommet you want is a "D" shaped grommet...like the PCV grommet is.

sandpaper, start mild, moving up to a fine paper as you go along, finish it off with 0000 steel wool, all i did was 180 grit and a s.o.s pad, I have alot more finer sanding to do, then swap the old red for a nice coat of gold. I did order some new dorman grommets, and a pvc valve, hope there the right size, might take a while to get to the door due to the COVID panic.
