Looking for loaner tires and wheels for the nationals

I figure it is a long shot but wondering if someone has a set of correct tires and wheels for my 70 W-30 you could bring to the national? I had a set lined up but now don't look like it will work out. I have radials on the car now and not that big of deal if I have to leave them on the car. I am not going to redo another set of wheels and buy $900 worth tires just for some points. If someone has a set and wants to rent them out for a day I would be interested.

G70 14 Firestone or Goodyear. I have an SSII with a firestone in the trunk so if I could find 4 of them would be great. Or 5 if someone has SSI wheels or Goodyear.

I am not sure what they dock for the wrong tires but I know it will be enough to knock it way down. For the most part it won't matter. I only want to know for me and I can figure what it would have been with correct tires after the fact. I just figure that this is the only time I will ever be in the position I am in so would be cool to get the correct tires for a day.

It's really not all that much if I'm remembering correctly I think it was 4 points total. If someone has the rule book please chime in...Tedd

Thanks. If that is all it is I would not even bother taking the time. I guess maybe I should figure that out first.

Just talked to Mike Pruitt. He give me this link http://www.oldsmobileclub.org/wp-con...ior-062812.pdf

It shows that it is 2 points per tire. I have the correct spare tire so that will be 8 points total. Even with the correct tires the car is not going to be above 990 so the tires will not matter. If someone has a set they are willing to bring I would still be interested but not going to worry to much about it.

A 990 will most likely get you a first place. It's hard to get into the ninety's....Tedd

I am sure my car would never be even close to 990. Anything above 990 is now considered a senior even if you are not BOC. (If I understood correct)

That is why the tires would not make much difference.
