Location of ac (compressor) fuse

Location of ac (compressor) fuse

Is there a AC Fuse for a 1974 Cutlass Supreme, if so can some tell me where it is located. I think that maybe the problem with mine...the fan blows but the clutch doesn't engage..

If the system is low on freon the compressor won't engage. It is a safety mechanism so that the compressor doesn't lock up.

I'm pretty sure a 74 had a thermal limiter fuse near the compressor. As the op said, it blows if there'a a low charge. They are like 5.00 or something.
