Yesterday I entered a show that the Lion's Club sponsored. They had a convention at the Hyatt in Richardson which is one of the cities in the Metroplex and close by. It was done in conjunction with the 100th anniversary of the Lion's Club. I told my wife we probably had a good shot at taking the Lion's choice award unless the membership had taken a lot of new and younger members. That was not the case. They had a best of show car and truck which were voted on by the entrants and the best of show which was the Lion's Club pick. Sure enough we managed to take the Lion's Club Best of Show award. Those guys loved the car and talked at length when they came by. This is a very special award for me. I would have uploaded more pictures but my files are too big and photobucket wants $400 a year to allow me to share pictures. I will try and resize them to upload some more.
