Like a rock.....no more

I could not resist this photo op, this is the Lou Grubb/ Power Chevrolet dealership in Phoenix earlier this year. The like a rock building got rocked by the wrecking ball into a lot of little rocks, before and after. This lot is barren now with the exception of the rock pile, and is not located in an area considered by most as desireable.

In the not to distant future all cars will be bought on the internet and shipped direct to your door. That's how I bought my wife's car.

Did the dealership itself go under or just relocate and demo the old building?

I hate to see a dealership (or about any business for that matter) go under. A business has to be really sorry for me to wish them out of business.

The former Holiday Oldsmobile showroom in San Bernardino California recently met the same fate. Hated to see the building go, but it had been abandoned for quite a while and was becoming a terrible eyesore.
