Light for rear defroster

Where is the indicator light in the dash for a 1970 442 with the rear defroster option located ?? Also does the car need to be running for the rear defroster fan to run along with the heater a/c fan or can the key just be in the on position. Thanks------Greg

The '70 blower type rear defog. did not have a light. When they switched to the electric grid on the glass there was a red light between the on/off switch & the blower switch. I believe the key must be in the run position for the fan to run but not sure.

X2, does have a metal panel above it with two dash lights it in to illuminate control panel. Just removed one from a '70 Cutlass with blower type defogger.
