I just drug another one home. It is another parts car but has lots of good stuff.

 

I wish I had those power windows in my convertible, but the conversion is way too much trouble and I want to keep my car true to the body tag. Still they would be cool... I was considering buying a convertible that had power windows and there were issues with the switches, so I did some looking and found out there are no reproductions, or replacement switches available, at least not for the '62. They did not share the switches with the full sized cars for some reason I can't understand. I'm not sure if this is true for '63, or not, but keep those switches and maybe even try to get them all working. Someone will need them.

 

I tested them and all of the switches and motors work. Sadly, the convertible uses a different back quarter window regulator than the hardtop and post cars. At least according to the parts book. I am going to sell this entire setup as a kit for someone to install.
