It's raining on the inside...

Does anyone make weatherstripping for cars like my '89 Custom Cruiser? I *think* it shares doors with its earlier family members (by the late 1980s though the names were the same the cars were FWD, little and crappy).

The driver's door is the main culprit, and though the weatherstripping is all there, it seems like it's split on the top edge, perhaps allowing a trickle of water down into the strip itself (though how it then drops directly into my power window controls I'm not sure).

The passenger door isn't split like that but drops keep dropping onto the armrest anyway.

I want to replace them with quality pieces as most I've seen are too large (can't close the doors properly), too cheap-feeling (too hard or gummy), etc.

Thanks!

This is another time that it's good to share parts with Chevrolet. The Caprice wagon weatherstrip is the same and is readily available. I bought a set for my Custom Cruiser. Note that the 77-86 front door weatherstrip is different from the 87-90, but I can't tell you what that difference is.

Soffseal is one source. Jegs lists these Soffseal weatherstrips under P/N 854-2501 (front) and 854-23591 (rear).
