intake valleypan gasket ?

I have a 330 engine and am putting a stock intake back on and I'm wondering if I need to use the valley pan gasket or a 4 piece gasket set .The engine has an oil tray bolted onto it.

Does yours have the metal tray in the lifter galley attatched with 2 bolts? If it does then you need the 4 piece set. If not you can use the valley pan.

The 64-66 330 motors used individual metal side gaskets (they look like the ends of the turkey tray gasket) with a separate bolt-on valley tray. You can use the turkey tray for the 67-72 SBO if you leave the bolt-in valley tray out. The newer gasket may be easier to find than the original separate metal gaskets.

Thanks, the engine has the lifter galley tray. Looks like it would be easier to take it off and get a turkey tray gasket.

They are both readily available at your local autoparts house. The 4 piece is a whole lot easier to work with!!!
