Installing the Accelarator Cable Clip on a 68 442

I just purchased an accelerator cable clip from Fusicks and I can figure out how or were to install it. I now I needed as it is missing. It's a 68 442. A picture and explanation would be much appreciated.

Post a pic of your cable (of the end that connects to the carb) and the clip you got from them.

If you are talking about this clip, it's extremely easy.

Install the throttle cable over the stud on the carb (you do have the correct rubber grommet and plastic sleeve in the cable end, right?). Note that the hole in the clip is a "keyhole" shape, with a large end and a small end. Press the clip over the end of the carb stud so that the stud passes through the large end of the hole in the clip and the tip of the stud presses against the folded-over tab. Continue pressing the clip towards the carb, deflecting the tab outward, until the large part of the clip aligns with the groove in the carb stud. Now slide the clip so that the carb stud moves into the small end of the keyhole slot, whereupon the tab will snap down over the end of the stud. Done.
