Information card found

I found a small card attached to the bottom of the rear seat of my 65 442 Convertible. It has a series of numbers stamped in red ink. The numbers are:

4-128-29-3
5986
3867-957-2KXG
4V-5Y-1TOP

Does anyone know what this card represents?

That tag documents the options for which Fisher Body was responsible. I don't know much about that year.
- The third line shows the Body Style 3=Oldsmobile 86=Holiday Coupe 7 = Convertible (I think these are correct - someone pipe up if I'm out of whack)
- 957 represents your interior: seat style, color, console, carpet, etc. (I have no idea what the other codes represent)

I'm sure someone else will chime in.

I would assume it looks something like this? I do not know the 65 codes but on mine, the 384 after the body and interior codes is 4 speed transmission. I have yet to know what the top lines means. I think I figured out what the 1997 on mine was but I will have to figure it out again to be helpful.

OK, I just remembered... Your 5986 is the body number on your cowl tag.

For the most part, it is the broadcast card for 1965.

Information will match up to your cowl tag on the firewall...compare the two. May not be in same order but will correlate
