Incorrect door seal from Summit

I'm assuming this is not the correct seal. It doesn't even look close to me. And the other end (2nd picture) is even further from correct.
Package says:
LM 12-A
69-72 GM "A" Body 2 Dr Door Seal
Metro Supersoft

Or am I not understanding something here?

The piece you have in your hand is for the door, in your picture I can even see the instructions telling you how to install on a door. The piece on the car, which you are comparing goes up the "A" pillar, which would be a "roof rail molding". This means those are different pieces and are not going to interchange.
Someone sent the wrong part or someone ordered the wrong part.
You can browse Metro stuff for your car, get part numbers and application information here;

Sorry for your bad luck,
Mike

You need RR5503 Roof rail seals.

Uhhh......guilty as charged.
Wow, I didn't even see those on the door. Luckily (?) those are hard and worn as well. So uhh...yeah, I meant to make that mistake

Thanks for the info fellas. My only regret in all this is that I didn't just buy the kit. I replaced the trunk seal yesterday (easy peasy), and decided last night that I needed the quarter window seals as well. Oh well, I'll be out a few bucks but maybe if someone else reads this they won't make the same mistake.
