Ididit Steering Column

Has anyone used these? I have a '66 and was thinking about putting one in. How hard is it to find an original floor shift tilt column for it?

I would think that the Ididit would be a snap, there are plenty of A bodies using them. On the flip side a floor shift column probably can be had from one of the members on here.

I see tilt fs columns on ebay quite often, expect 500.00 price range.

I don't know how close the aftermarket columns are to original, or how much work is required to install one. I do know that even their columns for older cars use the larger diameter upper end from the 1969-up cars, so your original steering wheel won't work. Also, verify what turn signal switch they use, as I suspect it is also from the newer cars. That may require some rewiring or at least an adapter harness.
