I know im Not the only one

In 2 weeks the Cutlass comes out of storage! Ive been pondering this all winter. The bottom of the steering wheel sits a half inch above my leg if I gain 10 lbs gonna have to notch them so's I can turn. Losing weight not likely a smaller steering wheel perhaps. Wasn't a problem in 1995 with the 76 Cutlass.

I don't know if this will help but thought I'd mention it.
These are for bucket seats, not sure if they will fit bench.
I use to get foot cramps holding the brake at stop lights on my 71 A body,I'm 6'1" and always felt cramped in my seat.
I installed these and it's the best modification I've made to my car. Since installation I haven't had one foot cramp and I'm much more comfortable.
This set gives you 2 inches extra leg room,I found a set from another company that gave me 4 inches extra leg room.
It's a good thing I opted for the longer set, turns out 3 inches is what works best for me,the 4 inch setting is actually a little to much of a stretch lol

I found that I sat a LOT higher after I recovered the seats and installed new seat foam back in 1990. I first thought it was just new foam vs saggy old foam but since then information has come out that some seat buns are too thick by an inch or more, and I likely bought those thicker ones. So if your seats have been redone, maybe the seat foams are too thick.

Hey bob, I know what you mean! Hope you get to enjoy your ride this season.

I've got an extra ten pounds and discovered the same thing. I like the idea of seat extenders if only I could benefit from them as I"m not being long legged. I'm glad there is another choice and option.

Kenneth is right on. I bought those Sagrouo? seat foam years back and found them to be too tall, too much foam. They're in the attic some where as I re used the originals with a little bolstering where needed. But yea, still pretty close to the wheel. Ride on.
