Hurst shifter question

Wondering what the applications are for this shifter. It is straight and no curves at the base ....it does not look like the 4 sped bench or console shifters that were available in 1971 as I was told....at the base is 3759

Thanks,
Ted

Hey Ted

I have a picture here from a 1971 442 and that shifter looks identical ??

If you don't stop there will be no 442's left for anybody LOL

There are two 70-72 shifters, one for console and one for non-console and they both have bends in them. The one Ted had pictured does not have a bend

As Marxjunk has noted above the only difference between the 68-69 442 and Cutlass straight handles is the "442" and "H" on the handle for the 442 and only the "H" for the Cutlass

Here are the three handles shown together

It's just a file pic Ted. I can't take credit for it. I think member bigblockolds posted it years ago and he doesn't even post anymore.

Here's another view of the 70-72 handles:

It's a 66 Cutlass stick. You can tell the 66 from the 67-69 sticks because it's squared off under the threads instead of being tapered.

Hey Ryan,

This shifter will be for sale as soon as we figure out the exact application.
Ted and I, also have a m20 trans to go along with this shifter if anyone is interested.

There will be more details soon on other parts that Ted and I acquired in the past few weeks. These parts will be listed in the "For Sale" section.

Cheers,

Sam

Yep. This ^^

Although, the part number should be 3759 (3760 is '442' stick)
