how to remove plastic bezel from floor dimmer switch

I'm installing new carpet in a 68 Cutlass Supreme but don't see how to remove the plastic bezel from the floor dinner switch. I know that this must be simple so can anybody help?

There should be one or two bolts holding it in place.

you mean the grommet in the carpet? just grab it and pull.

X2, It is made into the carpet.
Your new carpet should have one in it too.
If not, your old one is reusable.
