How do you remove the cruise control bezel?

I am trying to remove the cruise control from my car and I am not sure how the dash bezel is removed. Is it just stuck on their with some sort of adhesive? Can I just pry it off the dash? I just don't want to ruin it.

NOOO!!!
The cruise bezel is attached from behind. There are 2 posts - top left and bottom right that have speed nuts holding that to the dash. You should be able to access that from below the dash. It looks like you have your gages out, so you might be able to get it from up top too. IIRC the nuts are either 1/4" or 9/32".

How did you get the switch out of there without noticing that?

Here's some visual for you. Look at page 112 (section 1-3) Top right picture. http://wildaboutcarsonline.com/membe..._1.3_-_1.5.pdf You may need to rotate the pics clockwise. (right clik mouse and select option to rotate, depending on your OS)

The thin face plate is glued on to the bezel. The bezel is secured with two nuts as mentioned. See if this helps ID where the studs go...

Might hake a deep socket to get ahold of them.

Got it! Thanks for the info guys! I didn't see the 2 small speednuts when I had removed the switch yesterday.
