How to post videos

Can anyone tell me how to post videos on here. I've tried and it keeps telling me the video type is not supported.

It's easier to just put it on YouTube, then post the link

I managed it once, you’ll find a thread around here somewhere with some of the steps I took, must agree that YouTube is the better option. The underlying code was not written to support video file types.
