let me be a little bit clearer.
i was referring to the goofballs out there that think their 84 toronado or something similar is worth 10k because now it's a "classic",just because the POS is still running after 25 years..
and of course,it needs a tune up
when i was in high school, the coolest car to have was a 76 cutlass or a trans am,but later on,i realized these cars were junk.
somebody might feel differentlythat's great, but i just feel that way.
good guys feels the same way, they will never allow a car newer than 72 in their meets.

sorry if anyone here gets upset
but look you guys and girls if there are any. Our ministry puts on different events every year and I will say it again we DON'T charge a dime for the event to anyone, even if you are the one showing your car. I get alot of these remarks and stereo types because we do alot of events. We did an outreach and a kid that had barely started working on his truck (1972 chevy short bed) won best of show. over a sweet 1963 Buick riviera "SWEET"but the deal is this that kid not only put in alot of time on his truck but the display was absolutly phenominal thats what got our judges attention. he took the extra time and effort to display his truck like it was worth a million dollars verses the older gentelmen in the reviera. He pulled in, parked his car got out cleaned his wheels got a lawn chair out and sat behind his car oh yeah he popped his hood about 7inches the size of the tire foam can he used to prop the hood open. we passed out trophies and he was PIssed at us he cursed me out and he has the nerve to tell me that our event was not a christian event it was to get punk kids to mingle with old folks. "folks they need to learn to respect"!!!!! is what he said and guess what ya'll it was a toy drive for our community and all the toys generated went to families who had lost there homes in this economic crisis. we got no money out of this event all we asked if you could was to donate an unwrapped toy which was the cause. now mind you we get all sorts of cars from classic muscle to street rat rods full cutoms to the minitruckers from the street bikes to the stretched choppers and its always something from someone. What do we need to do to get everyone to come out and enjoy a good night out with NO DRAMA??? we cant make everyone happy right ??? well look I am sorry you feel the way you do but I know that as long as GOD allows me to help out in my community than thats what i will do regardless of what people say and think just pray you never need help from a private organization GOD BLESS YOU ALL ON THIS FORUM
