Hopefully a simple 68 cutlass emblem ????
Hey guys I am looking for hopefully a simple answer to the question of how to put the front cutlass and lower s emblems back on my car. I would rather not have to remove the fender or inner fender to get the bolt on cups back on the emblems. I know I can always put barrel clips in the holes, but would rather do it the right way. I looked from the top inside the engine compartment and that's impossible-so lets hear some great ideas to my dilemma please!!!!

No glue it never holds and to me looks terrible, the car came with boxes of parts including all the emblems, so I have no idea how they came off in the first place. The holes are still there and I have the original nuts for them, but really didnt wanna unbolt the fenders to put them back on.
If the holes are already there and you don't want to take the fenders off I would suggest trying a good 3M double face tape. You can trim the tape with a razor knife after applying it to the emblem side so it's difficult to see. I used it for my trunk trim because I was missing the last stud. It works fine and you can't tell it's there. My application is a little different because I have a flat surface for the trim side but I think it will work on the emblems as well.
Well easiest way for myself. I did have my father there to help me rehang the door but I would much rather take off the door than go through the fender well and deal with all that.
