First year of issue BBO 1965 intake, with weird casting number snafu? Note the "Ford Tool" above the intake and *CAST IRON* stubby-nipple water neck...

Experimental Cross-Ram Intake, casting ER13112 [?? hard to read]- at the space of the Vendor Who Must Not Be Named, I believe. Joe Padavano, did you sell your intake to the Dark Lord?

EXPERIMENTAL CASTING, CROSS-RAM [Cross Ram], no EGR, Cyl. #'s, "A", and ER13112 ("ER" part polished away mostly) ID plate on raised pads with nails. "Firing Order" and all other characters are "upside down"... as if designed to be read while standing at the BACK of the engine.

NOS 65 dash pad, not mine!
Great turn out once again, didnt really get to walk the whole show.
Only beefs, dont like the park where ever you want format. Thought I did but Im used to seeing all the years and styles together. Also, why does this show end at 3pm? Announcer thanked everyone for coming at 12pm, and people started to leave. Some didnt even get there until 10 or 11. People are starting to come from other states, like Brad Bishop. Id hate to come from Texas for a show/swap that begins to end after three hours.

Nice pics, we thought that it was ending early, and that they were rushing everyone out of there. Doesn't it run until 4pm? I bought one of the T shirts, which is nice, but I would have thought that they would have a 20th anniversary call out on it.

Yes, it did feel like they were rushing people out. Guy on the PA, which gets old BTW, acted like the show was done at 12. Ill bet some of the cars didnt even cool down. You would figure that for 20 bucks people would stay at bit longer than they do.

I'll third that
Way too loud
Never a break in the noise
Ruined the audio on the video I took of the running 107 year old Curved Dash.
Do they have a suggestion box?
a Minute of SILENCE out of ten or 20 would be appreciated.
Guess what I would like to hear when there is a 107 year old Curved Dash Olds putting by? THE CAR. You cannot duplicate that sound with any other machine.

Hey TK-65, I swung by to introduce myself but didn't see anyone near your car.. I must have caught you when you were out and around. The NOS 64/65 dash pad is cool! Didn't see that at the swap meet but did manage to get myself a nice 64 wire wheel cover for $20 that cleaned up super nice (I have one that isn't as nice I am taking off) and a NOS pair of 63/64 visor mirror frames for $30. I had fuel pump issues on the drive home from the show but was able to make it on the old pump (diagnosed it once I got home). I'm shopping around looking for one of those now.
I never understood the rush to leave this show also the last two years. I hung around until all the awards were done and things were getting real sparce by then. I too saw the people leaving around 12-1 and didn't understand why they were all going. We went back to the hotel, had a beer and then headed off to the Farm once we were able to get the kids out of the pool.
My friend forgot his weights at home for the shelter we were using on the grass and once the wind picked up after noon we chose to stake it (carefully) down in the grass. We got a warning from a club rep that we would not be allowed to do this next year and shouldn't have done it now (I knew about the sprinkler system and that it was on the rules and apologized and explained why we broke down and did as the others all next to us already had). After seeing the shelter barrel roll next to us that wasn't tied down, we decided to risk it since we didn't want some angry owner(s) coming over with damage and rightfully so. Every shelter tent next to us was staked too (except the one that rolled) but I didn't see the rep warn them.. I hope they got the same warning. Note for next year, don't forget the weights at home!!!
Still had a great time. Lots of great cars and as always, loved checking out the 64/65s :-)

One of my buddy's bought the book on the Parade of Progress buses, and the one that Ron Platt paid bigs bucks for at BJ a couple of years ago, was found in a junkyard about 7-8 miles from me, go figure.

The show is scheduled till 3P.M. I know that a lot of people left early due to the heat! I left early myself to run down to the Lansing Grand river plant for the ride and drive, they had Volts, Camaros, Cadillac ATS, XTS and CTSV coupe.
I wanted drive a Cadi before I die! Lines were long for the performance cars I.E. SS Camaros and CTSV, I wonder if the locked out the traction control button on them?

Great show, I brought my car this year (Funny, in the pics above it is either next to or behind a car in five or six of those pics but you can't even see a glimpse of it ).
I got there at 8:00 and was ready to leave by noon, I can only walk around or sit at a car show so long but I ended up running into a few folks on the list near the end and added a few hours to my stay - glad I did. Wish I ran into others, but missed them as well, can't miss their cars (chesrown etc.)

i wanted to look at the cars more but spent to much time looking at all the parts for sale. did anyone catch the W-27 for $19,000. i would have been embarrassed to even have it sitting there for that price. you can buy mine for that price and i will throw in the W-30 it is in for free.

But in all fairness, especially to those that who were not there and are reading this, there was a huge amount (like 100+? vendor spaces used) of fairly priced items, and I'm sure a lot of items sold to happy buyers.

Yep, I picked up a nice fan shroud for my '69. Kurt, how long have you had your Jetstar 1? did you restore it? I have seen it at Homecoming many times (and took pics each time).

I've had it since 1996. Was originally out in Iowa. Some work was done prior to me, and I've done some. It's a driver! Nice to meet you there, Dan.

Perhaps it was the threat of the heat towards the end of the day that run people out. I came from Kentucky to attend. I appreciate the sentiments of the PA guys but I could do without the music. There is nothing wrong with silence. I'm sorry I missed meeting you. I stopped by Tweeds car and he was in the swap meet so I missed him too. Looks like you captured Tweeds arrival. Can't overlook the White Power car. Could have walking right past you guys and never known it.
