Copyright 2008 doesn't mean that's when it started. There are posts on here dated well before 2008.

That was not what I was looking for at all. I was not "looking for a story" -just wanted to learn about the sites roots,if there was any.

Not really... I'm sure he still gets a kick seeing the site still thriving & growing... But you have to consider it has been over 10 years since he first bought the domain & set it up. over 6 years since he walked away to let others take over.

Once your contact information is attached to something on the internet its very difficult to get it completely removed so you don't get hassled.

around 1999 i purchased a domain & hosted it & ran a website for my car club... In 2004 I gave away control when I sold that car and left the club- yet I still get contacted about it at least 4 or 5 times a year. And that was only a fraction the size of this one... so i can see the frustration.
