I live in OKC I need to rebuild my Oldsmobile 425 engine I don't want nothing wild just reliable

It lost power in started to tap bad on the topend

Did you perform a compression check of each cylinder both dry & wet? What is the compression dry & wet of each cylinder?

Top end tap

Pull the valve covers. Look for broken spring, rocker, pushrod first.
