The Transmission you have there breaks down as:
P-Muncie
8-1968 model year
B-month (Feb)
08-day of the month.
I believe 1969 was the first year they used a suffix letter code to signify
transmission.
A-M20
B-M21
C-M22.
The VIN with the 2 at the beginning shows this trans is from a Pontiac if I am not mistaken.
