Heater core replacement

My 68 Cutlass S needs a new heater core installed. The shop manual describes the procedure well enough but makes no mention of any difference between a non-AC car and one with AC. Is there anything that I should lookout for with the AC?

Been awhile since I did this, kind if a BITB. To do it right, you need to remove the inner fender, to get to all the nuts holding the box on. I have done it without removing it, but then you have to drill the bottom right stud out, as it can't be reached with fender on. Not impossible, just takes time and patience.
