I need some opinions. My 67 442 is Saffron yellow with yellow interior. This isn't a good combo for me. I want to re-color my interion black, a better match than yellow. I am considering going with white for the headliner. The car is past being original so being factory correct is a nonfactor.
What's the opinion ?

 

I would go with a black headliner, I think white will be an obnoxious contrast.

 

The two black options available were all black, and the black and white (champagne) color scheme which is kind of cool. It has champagne seats, headliner, sail panels, and the top 2/3rds of the door panels. The carpet, dashpad, carpeted bottom 1/3rd of door panel, are black. So, all black, or that champagne scheme, are good. All black yet with white headliner is weird, in my opinion.

 

The yellow interior is a rare, 1967-only option. It usually commands more value that boring black or white. It will be a shame to change it.

 

I once saw a saffron saffron 67 W30. I was drooling ll over it, loved that combo.
