Sorry for the elementary question - but I seem to be having trouble responding to PM's. I reply, but nothing shows up in my sent basket. Could someone please fill me in on what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

i sent two PMs last night and one this morning and they are not in my send box.

 

Log out and log back in again

Eric, I did get two messages from you early this morning. Not sure when you sent them but the first arrived about 2:44 AM and the second sometime after 8:00 AM. John

P.S. I just replied to three PM's this evening and all three showed up in the sent box.

 

You can enable or disable saving of sent messages in your "sent" box.

Click on "user CP' at the top of the main screen.
Go down to "settings and options" list on the left side of the screen.
Click on "edit options".
At the bottom of the box entitled "private messaging" click the box next to "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default" so that there is a check mark in the box.

 

For some reason my private messages stopped showing in my sent box also.

I'm guessing they are being sent though cause I have received a reply to one. There is another I haven't received a reply to so maybe not all are going thru.

 

I have that option selected, but they are not showing up. Are my replies also supposed to be showed there (I assumed so since they are sent). I know at least one of the PM's made it through because I did receive a response.
