That car is in Quebec, I would get loads of pics sent of the undercarriage and inner trunk. Not saying it has loads of rust, It just may not look like a car that came from the western side of Canada.

Cars are not cheap to restore up here, Parts are 2X ++ higher than in the U.S, labour probably times 10 in some shops due to rust etc.
It looks to be in nice shape, the asking price may be a little high depending on the underside condition.
Sammy's way of shipping through Mackie would be the best way to go.

I've bought two cars from Canada and as sammy knows, I've used and been pleased with Mackie each time. If I recall correctly, it took about 3 weeks to actually get it, with half the time being in just the car actually being picked up in the schedule. Shoot me an email or PM if you want more information on price, custom fees, etc and I'd be more then happy to share. It was just a few months ago I just got my 72 W30 shipped from there so I'm pretty familiar with the process. I definitely took advantage of the exchange rate while I could.

I agree with Sammy Mackie the way to go.I use them all the time cheaper and less stressful than doing everything yourself

Another option for you. No personal experience but know several friends who have used their service with good success. Nice to have a second quote if you move ahead. They are a Toronto based shipping company.

As said Eastern Canadian cars can be very rusty. I would hop a flight and look in person. My Brother in law got a couple of cars from the US, one very, very minor scratches, the other one was very banged up from the mover. He recouped through insurance but the end result was painful and didn't turn out perfect. Our body shop rates are horrid thanks to insurance up here. Parts are awful as well.
