h/o 307 to 350 swap compete! finally
finally... its running great, trans th2004r trans shifts good and i couldn't be happier. the car has the ***** it was missing when it had the 307. just a few small things to do like make a plate to block off the egr on the A4 intake, get a better air cleaner and put the hood back on and its ready. plan on taking it on a 200 mile road trip this weekend so well see how things go from there
oh and also total cost of the engine was
300 for (2) complete oldsmobile 350 engines
300 on head work/valve job
70 for gaskets
used intake, carb, disributor, plugs, wires, and exhaust manifolds from the 307
car is actually an 87 442 but i think the euro clip looks too similar to a post 88 ciera front end so i sold it for 100 and bought this one from junkyard for 70 but still has to be painted. car will eventually get a full paint job and new quarters as budget allows.
