I picked up a NOS a6 a/c compressor used as replacement for the a5 compressors used in 1958 thru 1961 Oldsmobiles. It is painted gray. I would like to refresh the gray paint. Any suggestions on matching the gray paint the factory used 60 years ago?. I tried a box stores color matching computer but it was way too dark. I know that this gray has a hint of blue plus the usual black and whites. But I am not an art major.

SEM has excellent paint that can match OE colors closer than rattle cans bought at the parts store.

To buy the right paint you need to go to an auto body supplier. They can match the color of the A5 compressor.
