A little break from the 442, this is a prototype, it will have tracks, and be able to handle some tough sloples but its a great test run.. click the videos

Thats pretty sweet anything to eliminate the tedious task of mowing a large yard. It use to take me 1 1/2-2hrs to cut my acre on my riding mower.

The main goal was to build something for steep slopes, this was the trial run with tires on it, it is shocking with the tires on how steep of a slope it will mow, I cant wait to see it with tracks on it

That thing rocks. I sure could use a mower with tracks, I have a hill like that in my back yard and it is a pain. I usually end up doing the whole thing with a weed eater (1+ hour there alone) since the mower will slide and the wheels get buried. Next thing I know the blade is digging a hole.

Mine is the same way, almost all of my yard is 45 degree slopes or steeper. Its about 3-4 hours of weed eating. My buddy that has the machine shop and I have talked about this for a long time, He actually stopped talking and started doing, Now that we know it works and works very well I am working on the plans to build an electric remote start tracked version.

Cool, now just get a plc and a computerized layout of your yard, and you won't even have to stick around to run the remote

I think the funnest part would be chasing your unaware neighbors down the road with it hiding in your house, (with the blade engine off of course)

The first one went so well we decided to build a "larger" mower. this one is also 4wd, it will have electric start and electric deck adjustment.
