Got scammed

the same scam that others got hit with.
oh my uncle has a wreck car, and gave me his email Mike Downing or whatever that’s asses name is. Saying he was a old guy but he’s good and can trust him. I have people who can find him and I will skin him alive. It will be a pleasure.

Yea I got that same private message from a different guy. I guess he has a different handles. I turned it into the moderator and they finally got rid of him well under one day maybe he’s got several names who knows.. they haven’t got a solid year under their belt on here. I ain’t buying **** or selling **** to anybody, just sick of this crap.

Don't feel alone my friend, I was recently scammed too (a whole different story though). I have alwasy considered myself to be super disciplined, skeptical, and alert. Maybe I am getting dementia or something. Anyway, don't beat yourself up for it and move on.

On Fakebook recently, a person supposedly in Texas posted a near-NOS '66 4-4-2 decklid moldiing for $1000. It looked great in photos, and I messaged that I wished (s)he was closer. (S)he then offered to send it to me for $500 and, after receipt, I could pay whatever I thought was an appropriate balance. That's when I messaged "Not interested."

Most of these scammers are not even located in the U.S. Cameroon, Nigeria, India, Pakistan all have huge scammer industries designed to take money from the capitalist dogs in the U.S. They steal billions a year.
