good idea bad idea and how to do it.
have a 63 88 has bendix single pot master cyl. booster has many pin holes. was thinking of using a moraine unit with a dual master cyl for safety. ( been in a vehicle with a single and poped a line, one hell of a ride). what do you guys think should i repair the bendix. will a moraine from a chevy work or a cadillac? have both but dont want to pull them just to find bolts wont line up or somethin stupid like that. thanks al

It's a good idea. You will have to seek out a Moraine power brake unit out of a 1963 full size Olds. The master cylinder will have to come from a 66 or up GM car with moraine brakes. Make sure that the hole where the pushrod goes is the same depth as the original.
According to the parts book Bendix brake units were painted black. And Moraine units were bright metal.
