X2. They are one game away from winning the World Series. I would like to see it happen in six games but I think it will go seven. I wish they could have done it at home.

As an admitted fair weather fan I have been watching and rooting for them.

 

I thought this was going to be a hockey thread.

 

You guys got it all wrong. I hate to tell you this, but the Cards are taking the next two, and there will be much jubilation here in the Lou. It's been one hell of a series though either way....really. The defense on both sides the first two games was fun to watch. I just got off midnights, so maybe I can enjoy the next two games. Oh wait, I go in on afternoons. Not much getting done Wednesday and Thursday.

I don't even care about sports and I had at least 3 heart attacks last night. Time to wrap it up tonight.

 

It's been a wild series. The Cards have played like clowns, but manage to rally when times are desperate.

By the way, Ranger catcher Mike Napoli is a man in a boys world. That guy is as tough and clutch as anyone I've seen in baseball. The entire Texas team has been a class act.
