Hi guys,

Went to a great car cruise here tonight in Missouri about 30-miles south of St. Louis, but only about 5-miles from my home. There will be two posts of 20 pics each, so if you will please hold off on any comments until the Moderator can combine the posts it would be much appreciated. Enjoy!

 

 

It looks like a nice turn-out there. How often will they be having these car shows?

 

p518 - The last two for this season will be on the 1st Saturdays in September and October. The cruise-in is from 5pm - around 9pm.

That has to be one of the nicest LTD's that I can remember seeing. Great color on that Avanti. Same for that beautiful Cougar. That four door Studie is representing very well. I love early ******'.

 

As always, you're welcome, you know I enjoy sharing pics with our car brother's who either can't get out much, or don't have an active car scene near them. That Cougar is very nice. I think my favorites were the red GTO, and although I'm not big into what I'd call "Hotrods", I really liked the red Captain America themed car. Thanks for checking out the pics!

 

My favorite is the 69 Barracuda. Why do people with convertibles show their car with the top up? For judging I can see that, but a cruise in? Chris you should post a picture of the custard.

Mike - The only thing I can think of why the Baracuda would have the top up is either it is not functioning properly, or because there was a fair chance of rain earlier that evening. I've seen that car several times with the top down. Do you know if that year Barracuda had a power or manual top? Ya, I need to post a pic of their custard one of these days. The place is actually a full service grill too. It is my favorite place to get burgers close to me, and my wife likes their grilled chicken sandwiches. I usually get something from there about once a week.
