Getting nowhere

I need to find an answer to a question that I have had no luck on in the tech forum. I plan on running 10-40 for oil and as far as fuel the highest octane I can get is 91 that is non leaded high test I am planning on using octane booster and was thinking of adding lead substitute to help with my original 455 valve seats. I get a little bit of clattering noise on acceleration from the valves and someone on this site had mentioned that adding ATF fluid to a tank of fuel will help quiet the valve noise. Because of pollution concerns , lead substitutes have become hard to find around here so the question is will ATF fluid in the fuel replace a lead substitute?? And if so how much should you add to a tank of fuel for my 1969 Olds 98 convertible??

Use this stuff for your lead substitute. It's excellent and a bottle lasts a long time. It's one measurement cap full per 10 gal of gas.

Marvels Mystery Oil always worked well for me. I keep a gallon jug of it in the shop all the time. Its great for keeping the rubber parts your carb and fuel pump lubricated also. think its like $12 a gallon at Walmart, you only need 4 ounces per 20 gal of gas so it last along time. Its great for stikky valves too.I run it in the oil and gas.

cd-2

We used to be able to get the cd-2 stuff here but as of a year ago i have not seen it , may have to look at ordering. Marvel mystery oil is one I have not heard of but we have a Walmart not far away , I will see if they carry it at the canadian walmart , regulations up here keep getting tougher to wade through. Thanks for the responses
