Gathering funds for transmission swap

Hey everybody,
I finally discovered the gremlin that was lurking in my '69 W-31 nostalgia race car. I knew the engine was good, and I knew the rear was good, and I knew the car just would NOT flat shift when trying to get down the track. Well, we opened the bellhousing and the "new" CenterForce clutch was history. This was after MAYBE 20 passes. When assembling, I/we went by the directions (both written and verbally from tech-line) so let's just say I'm not using another CenterForce.
Actually, I'm changing the entire set-up. QuickTime blowproof, McLeod Soft-Lok clutch with adjustable pressure plate and aluminum flywheel, and yes, a new Jerico trans. with Long shifter. This swap will be quite costly so to finance this endeavor (remember, I'm just a working stiff like most of you all), I'm gonna sell off some of my stuff. I would need a lot of space to list what I have, so in the interest of time, how about this: if anyone needs something PM me or contact me here. I'm not a parts dealer, so I won't be stocking two of everything, but I MIGHT just have what you need! Thanks, Dave.

That's one way to do it Dave. I wonder why your clutch prematurely ate itself up?

Hard to say, but now I know why it wouldn't leave, shift or MPH. I don't think it was ever fully engaged or disengaged. Funny thing is, I never ever smelled clutch!

Guys and Gals, I also posted a thread on this topic over in the " Parts" section. Thanks for the support.
