Gas Door Gards

I have a 56 Olds 4 door HT and I like lots of chrome. I am looking for a place where I can buy a Accessory Gas Door Guard. Chrome to fit my 56. I'm always looking on eBay but no luck. Anyone know where I might find one. Thanks for any help, Dennis

You might try looking for Buick. I am pretty sure they are the same. I just checked Fusick and did not see any listed.

I just looked at the one for $175. Not cheap but it appears to be make out of pot medal while most are made out of tin. I have never seen one like that. I still don't think I would pay that price for it.

Keep checking ebay one will turn up. If it comes with the original box it will say Oldsmobile on it besides what else it would fit. There were two different ones offered for my 55' I'm really not sure about 56' though.

Was yours marked to fit and 56 Olds. There are a lot for Buick but when ever I ask if they fit the Olds, no one seems to know. Thanks, Dennis

The side sheet metal and doors on a Buick are the same as a Oldsmobile at least on a 55 and I believe 56 also , should work with no problem.... Tedd

Maybe Kanter Auto Products? They specialize in older models.
