Price difference easily covers some hydraulic fluid and a creeper, a couple celebratory beverages while you wait for thread sealant to dry.

This sale is currently on in southern Ontario, if your local store carries these but the item is not on sale at your location then it is possible they could 'price match' to another CTC store, you can ask.


I though this could benefit anyone considering one of these, a real nice item for your garage if you don't have the desire, space or budget for a hoist.

I am about one spark plug gap away from buying one for my '64 A-body so have being paying attention to the price - these were on sale a couple weeks ago, this sale is for one week.

I would love to hear from anyone that has one or buys one for a '64 to '67 A-body, particularly whether you feel the 5000 TL is long enough or did you feel the 5000TLX (6 inches longer overall) is required.

Very cool, didn't know they had those. If I didn't have an in tank fuel tank and Terminator X EFI to buy, I would probably get one of these.

 

Remember that CTC does 'no fee, no interst financing', in this case $62.50 for 24 months.

I too was unaware that CTC carried them, saw it in one of their flyers a few weeks back, also on sale then. They don't seem to offer any accessories (frame extensions) or any other models. Still, a nice item in your local CTC rather than pay shipping etc from out of country.

The (sole, I think) Canadian distributor is here https://www.babco.ca/5000TL near where I am located, they carry many lifts and other devices. The QuickJack series is manufactured in USA by BendPak, seems to be a quality item.

In my search for comparables I found a Canadian manufacturer of many lifts etc, they can deliver, and install ! This nice two post hoist is beyond my needs but seems reasonable enough https://liftsuperstore.com/product/r...le-9000-lb-4t/ , they manufacture 'scissor lifts' too.
